Beneath the gilded spire of the Admiralty Building there are 28 statues in human form representing the four seasons, the four winds, the four elements, the goddess Isis who is said to protect shipbuilders, and Urania the goddess of astronomy. Yellow with white columns is a popular look for many St Petersburg buildings.
